Hello
Photography and moving images are in my blood. My mother and grandfather both worked in films and I was captivated watching documentaries like ‘The World at War’ with my father as a youngster.
For over 20 years I’ve been telling stories with pictures. As a self-shooting Producer / Director and Series Director I specialise in factual and documentary, equally at home in broadcast television, corporate and charity sectors. Being able to tell people’s stories is my passion.
I’ve worked across an array of diverse subjects such as antique restoration, emergency services, wildlife conservation, medical, social and cultural traditions amongst many others.
I’ve devoted a considerable part of my career to making animal welfare content both in the UK and abroad most notably in America and Africa. Working with the RSPCA in England, SSPCA in Scotland and the SPCA in America.
I have worked consistently for British broadcasters as well international broadcasters such as the BBC, Chanel 4, 5, The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and National Geographic.
In the corporation and charity sectors I’ve worked with the RSPCA, Shelter, Teenage Cancer Trust, Bone Cancer Research Trust, Mane Chance, and Paws to Rescue.
I’ve won a Genesis awards for my work on Animal Cops Houston and a Royal Television Society award for Famous, Rich and Homeless.
In a varied career I’ve worked in many challenging conditions, from the dusty villages of Southern Africa, to the rolling seas and mountainous regions of northern Europe always with a passion of documenting the stories I’ve been entrusted to tell.
